Description

Cisco ACS is a solution that provides Network Authentication via TACACS+ or RADIUS IETF for device login. The Access Control Server can also provide Network Access Restrictions, Filtering, Auditing, NAC, and EAP Authentication support. Our training package will show how to configure the Cisco ACS 4.0 appliance into a operating productive state.

802.1x Authentication provides strong security for the edge or switch ports. 802.1x authentication requires a user to authenticate before they are placed onto the network. 802.1x can work with NAC or can be configured outside of NAC with PEAP MSCHAPv2 or EAP-MD5. Our training package will show you how to configure the essentials of 802.1x authentication on your network with the Cisco ACS appliance from scratch.

What you will learn?

This training workbook will provide the following:

  1. Learn the concepts of Cisco ACS and 802.1X that matter in terms of the components and protocols involved.
  2. Learn how to design Cisco ACS and 802.1X as a solution with practical steps, considerations, and tools.
  3. Learn how to configure Cisco ACS and 802.1X with best practices with step-by-step configuration.
  4. Learn how to monitor, troubleshoot, and confirm the operational state of ACS and 802.1X in your configured network.

This is what we call C.D.C.M (Concepts, Design, Configuration, Monitor), important for network engineers and consultants to know how to manage a network in real time.
