Cisco Small Business Pro ESW 500 Series are GUI only based switches that are ideal for small and SMB networks to directly compete against similar vendor switches (HP, 3Com, and Nortel switches) in the same market segment price and feature wise. The ESW switches use SmatPorts to easily configure switch ports based on what is connected. All of the Spanning Tree, QoS, and Security is automatically applied ideally without any required knowledge of these services.
