Description
Cisco Unified Presence 8 (or CUPS) including the Cisco Unified Personal Communicator (or CUPC) provide advanced
presence services for IP communication networks. Presence is used as a tool for voice users to learn about the
availability of another user whether they are on the phone or in a meeting. In this training package we will focus on
the installation and configuration of CUPS and CUPC with our Cisco Unified CM 8 environment for Unified Communication.
What you will learn?
This video series will show you the concepts, design aspects, and how to deploy a Cisco Unified Presence solution working with Cisco Unified CM for many of the availability features shown in the topics outlined below. We will show you step-by-step how to install and deploy many of the advanced presence options from client status, phone status, to even Calendar status using Microsoft Exchange and Outlook.
In this series our Voice infrastructure has been designed and configured by a 10 year CCIE architect with 15 years of real world experience with enterprise voice deployments.
