In this technology video, we will show you how to configure Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV).  OTV is a technology that allows extending multiple VLANs across a Layer 3 network over long distances.

We are going to quickly explain and show you how OTV can be used in a practical environment.

The topology we will use will have a private WAN connected with three Data Center locations.  Each site will have a server attached located within a server farm VLAN.  The objective in this video is to create a scenario where each server can communicate with each other within the same VLAN but is separated by the private WAN cloud.  This is important if you are considering virtual machine mobility between the servers.
